Hybrid guitar lessons.

I would like to develop a guitar teaching course for adults where I would meet individuals for the first couple of lessons, and during those two sessions, supply enough information and tips for them to be able to continue learning for a few weeks with support via message or video call if needed. Every couple of months this would continue, with two lessons face-to-face and a number of weeks self-taught from the content given during the face-to-face lessons.

Workshops

Workshops on various music themes, such as songwriting, instruments, genres, historical or period music, percussion, music technology and others, held in a local venues such as the library or hall for all. Workshops could be run by a committee who would invite local people from areas of expertise to speak and showcase their knowledge at the workshops.

Busking at Festivals

Open opportunities for people to take part busking on a particular day and times as organised with the Festival committee. This could be part of the summer festivals in the locality, such as ‘Wake the Giant’. This gives people an opportunity to gain confidence in performing, whilst allowing people to mingle and enjoy each others talents.
